Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a Deska account or using the Deska service ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using Deska on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. The service

Deska provides desk booking and hybrid office management software as a subscription service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • One organisation per account unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must not share access credentials with people outside your organisation.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@deska.me within 7 days of a charge if you believe it was made in error.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other organisations' data.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without permission.
  • Upload content that is harmful, fraudulent, or violates third-party rights.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to Deska. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the billing settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deska's liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
